Since you have been liking my oatmeal recipes, I feel I would be doing my part by giving you a quick new recipe every week. Really I’m just using you as an excuse to hide my oatmeal obsession. Nonetheless, here goes another, YAY! It’s super simple but one of my absolute favourites, this recipe never gets old!
|Prep time: 6 minutes||Cooking time: 1 minute||Total time: 7 minutes|
- 1/2 Cup Oats
- 1 Cup Boiling water
- Pinch os Salt
- 1 Tsp Honey
- 1 Tbsp Nut butter
- 5 walnuts
- Put the oats, salt and honey in a bowl, and add the boiling water.
- Give the oats a quick stir and allow them to sit for 5 minutes. If you’ve been here long enough then you know the drill already. Today I recommend you meditate for those 5 minutes, it’s good for you.
- Once the oats have soaked up all that sweet watery goodness, pop them into the microwave for 1 minute.
- When you hear that ping, you can take your oatmeal out of the microwave, stir it up and top it with your nut butter and walnuts. I used my favourite crunchy peanut butter, but almond butter, cashew butter, heck any nut butter works. The fact remains you’ll be full of nutty goodness all morning. Happy and satisfied till lunch!
